I am raising funds to repair my car so I can travel from Virginia to Houston, Texas, for a new job opportunity. The car, a 1996 Honda Accord, was given to me by my aunt after she passed away, and it holds a lot of sentimental value. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how much work it would need to be road-ready. I need to fix the brakes, replace four tires, get car insurance, repair a side mirror, and get an oil change before I can safely make the trip on July 8th. I’ve already invested in getting the timing belt changed and a new battery.

These repairs are essential for me to get to Houston safely and start my new job on time. Once I arrive, this car will be my daily transportation to and from work, so making sure it’s reliable is crucial for my future. I’m determined to make this journey and start a new chapter in my life, but I can’t do it alone.
