Help me repair my car after two attempted thefts
Donation protected
My name is Franco, and I have been living in New Zealand for almost 6 years. Right now, I’m going through a very tough situation.
A few weeks ago, my car was vandalized twice right outside my home in Whakatāne. The first time, they broke the window and damaged the ignition trying to steal it. While I was looking for a mechanic to fix it, they attacked it again and caused even more damage. Fortunately, they didn’t manage to take the car either time, but the damage was done.
The car won’t start now, with a broken window and a completely destroyed ignition. I’ve been quoted $1,800 NZD to get it repaired and back on the road. Unfortunately, I don’t have active insurance since my policy had just ended a month before.
I use the car every day to get to work in Tauranga, which is more than an hour away from where I live. Without the car, I can’t get to my job, which directly affects my income and stability.
I’m asking for help to cover the repair costs and get back to work as soon as possible. I don’t have family here in New Zealand, and this is the first time I’m asking for help like this.
If you can donate even a little, or share this campaign, you’ll be helping me regain my means to work and move forward.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading and for any support you can offer
