Help me remain mobile for my family
This campaign is to raise money for the purchase of a KD smartchair power wheelchair and extra battery. I'm a married father of two young children. I have lived my entire life with cerebral palsy pretty much completely normal from an ability stand point and have never considered myself disabled. In June of 2016 I started having strong back and leg pain and have now been diagnosed with spinal stenosis this has severely impacted my mobility with the assistance of a rollator I'm able to walk still but can only go so far before I need to stop and take a break to allow my arms to rest from supporting my weight. I need the power wheelchair to allow me to be able to enjoy and take part in doing things with my wife and children. I want to be able to take my kids to the zoo, parks, family outings and on vacation and be able to participate and enjoy it. It would also allow me to be more mobile in my day to day life instead of physically struggling just to move from point A to point be B. I've realized since last June just how lucky I was to be as mobile as I was for so long. I will be forever grateful to those that give for allowing me to be that mobile again.
