Help Me Relocate Pod Shipping and Plane Ticket
Donation protected
As I mark my cat Gringo’s 8th birthday and adoption anniversary from afar, I’m feeling the weight of distance more than ever. Since January, I’ve been working to build a new life as an artist in Mexico, separated from Gringo, who has been my steady source of emotional support through family losses, lockdown, and some of the hardest moments of my life. While he’s in good hands, I know he misses me as much as I miss him.
A recent turn of events has made things more difficult than expected. I now face the urgent challenge of shipping a storage pod from Atlanta to Mexico City. Rising costs are making this increasingly out of reach. That pod holds nearly everything I own—my computer, backups, tools, paintings, and irreplaceable personal items like photo albums and family heirlooms. These aren’t just objects—they’re my archive, my roots, and the foundation I need to keep moving forward as an artist. I have about six weeks to ship the pod before risking extra costs or losing my belongings.
For months, I’ve been juggling multiple projects just to stay afloat, but now I need help. Your support will help me cover the cost of shipping the storage pod and reconnect with my life’s work and with Gringo. Gringo is my emotional support animal, a source of inspiration, and a grounding presence in my life. Being reunited with him and my belongings will allow me to keep creating meaningful art and giving back to the communities I’m part of. Any contribution, no matter the size, truly means the world to me. Thank you for reading, supporting, and sharing this.
