Help Me Relocate: A Fresh Start Needed!

I’m reaching out for help, which is a bit of a stretch for me. I’m moving from Casper, Wyoming to Orlando by June 20th. I work an average of 50 hours a week driving for Uber, Lyft, and DoorDash, but I’m still short on money to make the move. I’m estimating I’ll be about $4000 short.

I know everyone has their own struggles and financial responsibilities, and it’s never easy to ask for help. But if you know me, you know how hard this is for me to ask. I’ve always tried to help others, lend money, give advice, and offer support when needed. So, I’m hoping you can return the favor and help me get back to Florida where I can find a regular job.

I’ve been in Wyoming for over 11 years now. I spent 10.5 years as a Locomotive Engineer, and left for what was supposed to be my career ending dream job. Unfortunately, that job didn’t work out for me. I’ve applied for over 50 jobs since and been on 37 interviews, but I haven’t gotten anywhere. The gig work I do here only pays about $500 a week, and there are too many new gig workers because of the mass layoffs in the Energy Sector and the Federal Government here in Wyoming.

I’ve been talking to my family and friends about this move, and we’ve all put a lot of thought and planning into it. But I just need a little financial help to get me started. I know I’m still working 40+ hours a week, so I don’t have much time to talk to you all about this. But if you reach out, I’ll do my best to explain further. Please know there was a lot of careful consideration in putting this together, and I really appreciate everyone’s time, love, and consideration in the past and moving forward.
