Help me regain some mobility

Let me introduce myself. My name is Kenneth Morrison. I am married to an amazing wife and two wonderful children.

Two years ago, I was suddenly stricken with a neurological condition that has left me without the use of my legs below my knees, and crippling my hands giving me only about 25 to 30% function in them.

This condition has made. it extremely difficult to walk, requiring the use of a walker and wheelchair. As well as to hold onto some of the most basic things like cups, utensils, and other daily tools that everybody uses and takes for granted.

I am doing this fundraiser to raise the money in order to buy an electric wheelchair. Having an electric wheelchair would give me a tremendous amount of freedom back in my life. Currently if I need to go a short distance, say walking around in my house I use a walker. But if I need to go longer distances, say to the doctors office, or a stroll outside I require a wheelchair. Because my hands no longer function properly I am unable to wheel myself around and must always have someone push me. Thus I’m always having to rely on someone else for my mobility outside the house.

Having an electric wheelchair would free anyone from the burden of always having to push me around, and give me some freedom back in my mobility.
