My name is John, and for years, I’ve been living with multiple sclerosis (MS). What started as occasional fatigue and weakness has slowly progressed to the point where I can hardly walk at all. I now rely on mobility aids just to get through the day, and simple things like going for a stroll or running errands have become distant memories. MS has challenged me in ways I never imagined, but I’m not ready to give up on living life to the fullest.
Recently, I learned about the Cionic Neural Sleeves—innovative, FDA-cleared bionic clothing designed to help people with MS, stroke recovery, or cerebral palsy. These sleeves use advanced technology to provide real-time electrical stimulation, adapting to my movements and re-educating my muscles to improve my gait and reduce fatigue. From what I’ve seen and heard from others, they can make a profound difference, helping users walk more confidently and regain independence. I believe this could be a life-changing step for me.
I was doing quite well until covid came around, in the fall of 2020. I was doing deliveries 12 and 13 hours a day and could get around like previous normal, running and jogging all the time, but in 2021 that's when things started going and getting worse, I know I got covid at least twice, possibly three times, and it seems too have accelerated the MS for the worse.
I’m reaching out to ask for your support in helping me purchase these sleeves. Any donation, big or small, will bring me closer to regaining my mobility. I’m also open to any advice or suggestions from others living with MS—there are so many people who are doing better than I am, and I’d love to learn from your experiences. Thank you for reading my story and for any support you can offer.
