Help Me Regain My Freedom with an Omeo Wheelchair
Donation protected
Hi, I’m Jeremy Raeszler. In 2008, i had a motocross accident that left me paralyzed. That moment changed everything for me, but it didn’t change my determination to live a life filled with purpose, faith, and resilience. Since then, I’ve worked hard to stay active, connected, and involved in my community, in my work, and with my family.
But even with all that drive, traditional mobility equipment too often feels more like a barrier than a bridge. That’s why I’m reaching out….to ask for your help in acquiring something that could transform my independence and daily experience: the Omeo Power Chair.
The Omeo isn’t just another wheelchair. It’s compact, self-balancing, and highly maneuverable, and it is no bigger than my manual wheelchair, but is ab;le to handle terrain that standard power chairs simply can’t. It allows me to move freely through offices, meetings, and city streets. And just as importantly, to roll off the pavement and into nature with my wife. With the Omeo, I can return to trails, parks, and outdoor places I’ve been cut off from for years on my own, without the need for someone to carry me or my burden.
For me, this isn’t just about mobility. It’s about dignity, confidence, and living life fully. It’s about being able to show up completely for the responsibilities I carry and those I love.
But, because of my disability, the cost of this freedom is high. The Omeo alone totals nearly $30,000 and the lift device for the vehicle is another $10,000, and insurance won’t cover a dime.
So I’m asking for your help. Whether it’s a donation of any size or simply sharing this message, your support can make a real, lasting difference. This is more than a chair - it’s a second chance to reclaim my independence and continue building a life of meaning, movement, and joy.
