Antifa means anti-fascist. I am antifa. It's not a movement, there's no secret handshake, we have no headquarters and are led by our own consciences. We have no funding. No PACs. We love love. We love freedom. We love our families. We love justice. We love choice. We love peace. We love our neighbors. We love your neighbors. We love human rights. We love civility.

For those of you who don't know me, my name is Tracy Thompson. I'm a feminist. I'm a 64-year-old grandmother of 2, mother of 3, Navy Veteran and Yale Law graduate. I was the first woman in skilled trades (electrician) at Ford Motor Company in Hazelwood, MO. I studied philosophy and women's studies at the University of South Florida, graduating summa cum laude at the age of 33. I'm a writer, a real estate agent, a volunteer in my community. I'm a poet, a sister, a dog mom. I'm a friend, a reader, a traveler. I'm a lifelong defender of women's rights and reproductive freedom. I never imagined I'd have to defend my country from its own 'leaders' but here we are.

In an effort to save Democracy from Trump and his magats, I am joining the Refuse Fascism movement in DC which starts on Nov. 5. I plan to stay for a week during this first trip and will see where things lead. We have got to stop this fascist government. Protest is our only tool.

I collect social security and work in real estate. I don't have the money to be able to afford this effort, but I am going. I want to feel I did everything I could to save America for my grandbabies and their grandbabies. If you can contribute even a buck, I'll take it proudly.
