A few days ago, I experienced something that completely turned my life upside down. My truck was broken into, and my tailgate and work tools were stolen. What hurts most is that these weren’t just “things” — they were the tools I depend on every single day to earn a living and take care of myself. Years of hard work went into building up my equipment piece by piece. Losing everything in one moment has been devastating emotionally and financially.

Since the theft, I’ve been struggling with the stress of not knowing how I’m going to replace what was taken or how quickly I’ll be able to get back to work. The stolen tailgate alone is expensive to replace, and the cost of replacing my tools is overwhelming. Without them, I can’t fully work, which means lost income on top of the damage already done.
