Help me recover my life and soundness of mind!

So this year has been the most challenging year of my entire life. Writing this here is so very different than someone writing it for you while you are unconscious in a coma or a hospital bed. The number of times that I have questioned why this has happened to me is numerous. But that definitely doesn’t get me anywhere because there is no answer. Whether you have faith of any kind or a belief in anything larger than you, that has gotten me through every second of this impossible-to-describe year of my life. To say that it’s humbling is such a small way of saying it. I just had my final surgery that will hopefully put the cap on this period of my life forever.

However, as a person who pushes and strives and works until my fingers bleed, I’m starting to understand what they mean when the doctors say you need to rest. At this time of my life, because of this year and the times that it has presented, I am simply not able to rest. I have a family to support, a salon to keep open, and my sanity to keep. So what else do you do but ask for help? The GoFundMe that I received from all you incredible people who have touched me or I’ve touched in some way in my entire life saved my life. Now I have to ask one more time because I need to go and take care of my mental health and heal from this experience. I won’t say that this is humiliating or embarrassing because I haven’t done anything wrong. I’m simply asking for help so that my family can be OK while I’m gone. You’d be shocked at what any amount of money would help. I used to have so many backup insurances and credit cards and ways to take care of myself and my family, but after this year, it has changed so drastically. I refuse to feel like a beggar. If anyone can help in any kind of way, the gratitude is unspeakable. Anyone who helps is truly like an extra hand to hold, and I am so thankful. Thank you for being a friend.
