Help me recover my hard drive with my music on it!

Hi! I'm Matt, you might know me for my music as Jordan Sunlight or as a person named Rose or as the guy who records shows in the SGV sometimes.

On the evening of March 21st, 2025, my external hard drive started freezing up until it stopped being recognized by my computer entirely. I have a large amount of project files from my discography and unreleased songs that I never backed up on that hard drive, among other esoteric music stuff I've collected over the years, so I'm kind of really freaked out about this!!!

I'm fairly confident this isn't a problem with the platters, since it was briefly recognized by my computer once and all the data was still there, so it's probably with the mechanical bits inside the hard drive. This is why I feel ok making this page, since the chances of me being able to recover the data seems high. $600 should cover most of the cost - I can probably front the rest on my own. Any amount helps. Thank you so much!
