Help me recover from credit debt after throat cancer

If you know me, it is probably from my volunteer work with SOMA Guardians. For over 15 years, I have been helping with coat check at the bars, clubs, events, and weddings in San Francisco's South of Market. Most often, though, I am at the Powerhouse bar on Folsom Street. The proceeds for most events go to charity and I am seldom paid, but I do collect tips.

In May 2022, I was diagnosed with throat cancer and have spent six weeks undergoing radiation and chemotherapy. Most of my expenses have been covered by Medicare and my SSDI; however, there is a gap between what I get and what I need. Usually, that was filled by my tips from coat check. During Covid, it was taken care of by stimulus checks and Folsom Feeders.

Nevertheless, San Francisco is an expensive place to live. I need help bridging the gap. Will you please help me with a donation? Think of it as money in my tip jar.
