Well, I had hoped and prayed that I would never have to need a GoFundMe request. But as luck would have it, I took a fall on Sept 20, 2025, and fractured L4, L5, and S1.

As you can see from my X-ray, my surgeon had to secure my lumbar area with screws and rods.

My recovery outlook is great, and with PT and rest, I should be much better in a few weeks. That part I'm not so concerned about, as I had successfully recovered almost 95% in the 18 months since my last laminectomy from the same area.

My worry and need now is the financial component. My BCBS deductibles have increased exponentially.

And what I've already been billed will wipe out most of all savings. There will be more as I'll require more medications, PT charges, follow-up Dr. visits, and further tests.
