Hi, my name is Sal. Asking for help is hard, especially right now, but I am at a point where I cannot recover from this alone anymore.

After leaving an abusive relationship that not only made me fear for my safety and emotionally distressed me, it has also left me in severe financial hardship. This is my second time posting my fundraiser because the first time around I was met with intimidation tactics.

The reason I must re-post this is because I still have ongoing medical finances to source (for medications, appointments, and life-saving medical observations while I undergo treatment for anorexia nervosa).

Since deleting the old fundraiser up until now, I have calculated roughly how much money I spent on my ex-partner's alcohol - €1,920.

I am not asking for this full amount as during the last fundraiser, some very kind and selfless people were able to help out before I had to prematurely delete the page, to which I am endlessly grateful for.

My ex-partner also has misguided my landlord with lies about me and the eviction process. So I now have 6 days left on my (technically invalid) eviction notice which is currently being reviewed by officials. I truly don't know what I'm going to do about my living situation now as my current anorexia nervosa treatment is life or death at this point. Securing even a fraction of the funds I need for a new rental property fills me with such anxiety.

Last month, I was able to pay back 2 undue medical bills, pay for medications, and pay for my rent thanks to some very generous and kind people. But I continue to struggle, especially with all the psychological distress I am currently going through. I am in therapy and working hard to recover emotionally and financially, but right now I need help getting back on my feet.

As a vulnerable adult with autism, mental illness, and a physical disability called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I must rely on disability allowance as my source of income.

All funds raised here will go towards medical expenses, domestic bills, and to secure new safe housing.

Any amount, big or small, will make a huge difference! Your support means the world to me - it gives me the opportunity to start living my life again, free from abuse.
