I recently had a corneal transplant because I had a hole in my eye. I’m only 20 years old and, like so many others, I’m just trying to make it through life while facing medical bills without insurance. I applied for insurance several times, but for some odd reason, I keep getting rejected. I tried so hard to avoid having this procedure done because I knew how expensive it would be, but it was absolutely necessary for my health and vision.
The doctors who performed my surgery were incredibly kind and gave me an amazing deal, and I can’t thank them enough for that. Still, the cost of the surgery and anesthesia is more than I can manage on my own. I work hard, but my hourly wage just isn’t enough to cover these unexpected medical expenses. That’s why I’m reaching out for help. Every little bit truly makes a difference—whether it’s a dollar or simply sharing my story. Your support will go directly toward paying for my surgery and helping me get back on my feet.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can offer. It means the world to me to know that I’m not alone in this, and I appreciate your kindness more than words can say.
