Help Me Recover From a Car Dealership Scam

About a month ago, the engine in my car failed unexpectedly while I was driving home from a design conference in Chicago. I had only owned the car for 45 days. After weeks of back and forth, I learned that the dealership sold me a lemon—leaving me stuck with major repair costs and no accountability on their end.

Since then, I’ve had to step away from my job in Grove City because commuting through Uber and Lyft every day quickly became financially and mentally draining. The good news is that the car is now repaired with a new engine—but I can’t afford to get it out of the shop due to the high costs of my car note, insurance, and warranty payments.

I’ve listed a few items on Facebook Marketplace to try and raise some funds, but I’m also humbly asking for support through this GoFundMe. Any donation—big or small—will go directly toward the release of my car and upcoming legal fees, as I do plan to take action against the dealership.
