This isn’t easy for me to write, but I’m reaching out because I truly need help right now.

On December 16, I was involved in a motorcycle accident while exiting the freeway and making a left turn. Another vehicle cut me off, causing me to swerve into a pothole. I was thrown from my bike, and the impact resulted in a broken navicular bone and fractures to 7–8 other bones in my foot.

I was admitted to the hospital and am expected to be released on December 18, but due to the severity of the injuries, I’ve been told I will be unable to work for 4–6 weeks.

I am a single mother to a 9 year old, and I am self-employed and work gig-based jobs, I am a standup comedian, I have an Amy Winehouse tribute band (AZ Winehouse), and a professional belly dancer, most of which require me to be on my feet. Because of this injury, I’ve had to cancel multiple holiday belly dance performances, which would normally be my main source of income during this season.

I’m asking for help to cover rent due on January 1st, medical expenses, bills, and basic living costs while I recover. Any support whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, means more than I can put into words.

Update: as of 12/18 I was told that I will be needing surgery on 12/19 at 11am to fix my ankle! Healing time will be 4-6 months unfortunately :(
