Hi everyone,

My name is Ari. I’m 21 years old, I work a physical job at a moving company, and I have a deep passion for the outdoors and exploring new places. I’d recently taken a big step toward that dream by buying a vehicle and converting it into a simple camper so I could travel, work, and live a bit more freely.

But on my way back up north from visiting my dad in Humboldt County, my plans took a hard turn. While driving on Highway 101, a truck in the lane next to me struck a deer and sent it flying toward my car. I swerved to avoid it, lost control, and ended up fishtailing before flipping off the road and down a ditch. My car rolled about three times before coming to a stop.

Miraculously, I walked away without any serious injuries — something I’m deeply grateful for. But the car I had just poured my time, energy, and savings into was completely totaled. And now I’m left without a way to get to work or begin again on what I was building.

I’m asking for help to raise as much money as possible to help cover the remaining payments on the car I lost and to put something toward a replacement vehicle so I can keep moving forward, literally and figuratively. I’ve just been promoted at work, and I’m determined to keep showing up and working hard, but without reliable transportation, it’s going to be a struggle.
