Hi everyone,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this.

Recently, my life changed in an instant after a 50-foot fall while cliff jumping at Cloud Falls. By God's grace, I survived an accident that could have easily taken my life. While I am incredibly thankful to be here, the road to recovery has been much more difficult than I ever could have imagined.

I sustained a multiple compression fractures in my spine and have been hospitalized in the ICU while doctors work to determine the extent of my injuries. During my recovery, I experienced a loss of sensation in both of my legs. Thankfully, I have regained full sensation in my left leg and have begun to regain sensation in my right. Every small improvement has been a reminder of how much I have to be grateful for, but I still have a long journey ahead.

As I prepare to leave the hospital, one of my biggest needs is a hospital bed for my home. Because of my spinal injury, I am unable to safely sleep in a regular bed. A hospital bed will allow me to recover more comfortably, change positions safely, reduce pain, and continue healing while following my doctors' recommendations.

The financial burden of recovering from this accident has been overwhelming. Between medical expenses, recovery equipment, and time away from work, the costs continue to grow. Any funds raised will go directly toward the hospital bed, medical equipment, and other essential expenses related to my recovery.

Asking for help has never been easy for me, but I've learned that sometimes allowing others to support us is part of the healing process.
