This is really hard for me to share, but I recently became the victim of a scam that wiped out all of my savings and left me trying to rebuild from nothing. I’ve spent days feeling embarrassed and overwhelmed, but I know I can’t get through this alone. Right now I’m asking for support — whether that’s a donation, sharing this post, resources, advice, or even encouragement while I work to get back on my feet. This scam has affected me greatly, as it is the end of the month, and rent due being right around the corner, this has caused much stress in trying to figure out how to make ends meet. This situation has created a large amount of stress within my daily work and personal life because I am scrambling to try and find a solution. I have already reached out to the Tampa Police department, and provided a sworn statement as well as a police report. I have created a fraud claim with my bank, as well as interviewed on fox 13 news and was the headlining story on the 11 o'clock news for fox 13. I am telling my story to help other people out there become aware and not fall for the same scam as I did.

Community support means so much to me right now because in a world of rising prices, and scammers on the rise we as a community need to look out for one another. Even if that means just spreading awareness for others.
