This morning, my floor mate accidentally set his apartment on fire, which led to my entire apartment being flooded. The Red Cross is processing my case, and I am displaced. My building is trying to arrange for me to stay in another room, but I cannot sleep in my apartment ever again because it will require months of repairs.

Both the first and second floors are destroyed. Water poured through the ceiling, ceiling tiles have fallen everywhere, and the community spaces like the lobby, laundry room, and activity room are all affected. Many of my belongings—including snacks, supplies, cosmetics, clothes, and shoes—are ruined. I managed to grab my backpack, laptop, and purse, but most of my essentials are lost.

I need help replacing clothes, shoes, and supplies, as well as finding temporary housing and covering urgent expenses. Any support you can offer would mean so much to me during this difficult time.
