3 months ago I had an ankle pain. I thought it was just muscle cramps. The hospital told me don't worry about it it's only inflammation. Here's some anti-inflammatories and you'll be okay.

The pain got worse and I decided to go to another hospital. Advent Health in Kissimmee. And they did CT scans x-rays said that there's nothing wrong with my ankle. I'll be fine with anti-inflammatories. Again they just told me don't worry about it.

The pain got so intense. I wasn't able to do my job, perform the duties that's expected of me. And when I did work my ankle felt like it was on fire. I decided to go back to the hospital.

Last week, I underwent a 6-hour surgery at Advent Health Orlando to try to save my leg. Now, I’m once again facing a long, painful recovery, I never expected to endure again. Despite years of hard work and optimism, I’ve lost everything I worked so hard to regain — including where I live.

I’m not eligible for disability benefits due to my age and state requirements, and the truth is — i enjoy working. It'll take at least 6 months for me to be able to walk again.

My goal is to heal, work again, and live a normal life, but I can’t do it alone this time.

I’m humbly asking for help to cover basic living expenses, medical costs, and recovery needs while I fight to get back on my feet. Whatever funds I don’t need for myself, I will donate to charity to help the homeless — because I know firsthand how devastating it is to lose everything.

I want to physically be able to work again. To walk, run, jump, just heal. And I truly hope I'm able to. I believe in myself, I'm just worried about paying for rehabilitation therapy, the medication, the antibiotics I'm currently taking. Everything is out of pocket. And I'm unable to afford the antibiotics, they are 900 dollars for one week. Even with asking for financial aid, charities, I'm unable to pay these bills. The prices are insane, just the blood thinner with the syringes are 300 dollars. I told the doctor's I can't pay for the aftercare.
