My name is David Lewis. You may know me from my musical appearances at the annual Delaware Street Festival where I perform topical tunes about Delaware Ave such as the smash hits “Laziza” and “Cat Named 7”. After years of developing a collection of special songs written exclusively for the Delaware Street Festival, I think it’s time to put these tunes on wax! Recording costs a bit of money so I’m reaching out to you, my wonderful neighbours, to help in any way you can. Once recorded, I will post the songs to streaming platforms and YouTube for your eternal listening pleasure. My dream is that, centuries from now, these songs will live on in the public record as an astute and catchy cross section of what it meant to live on Delaware Ave in the 21st century. This is your chance to be part of history!!! Thanks for your time and consideration. See you at next year’s street festival!
