I pray this note finds you well.

I am aiming to make a better effort in leaning on my community and family when things get tough - first, I thank you for being a vessel for me to do so. I fall into the habit of trying to "fix the problem" on my own with the fear of burdening others, but I truly could use help and support during these times. I'm sharing this link with you in hopes that you may be able to help me in my mission to raise $2,800 towards buying a new car/retrieving my beloved 2024 Kia Soul.

Due to the engine failing on my 2021 Kia Soul in 2024, I had to unexpectedly buy a new car mid last year. The work I do requires me to travel with equipment regularly, so I had to replace the car sooner rather than later. Unfortunately, this year my position was cut at the music venue I was working at due to budget cuts, causing me to lose my primary source of income. I was no longer able to keep up with my bills, and my car was unfortunately repossessed. It was a heartbreaking discovery as I had just recently bought the car, fell absolutely in love with it all over again as it replaced the Kia Soul that previously died, and I had no expectation of not being able to keep up with the payments. The car is currently in an auction lot, and as much as I'd love to get it back, I'm also coming to terms with the idea that I may not be able to. But I'm praying and not losing hope.

I've learned a lot about financial responsibility, structure, and security over the years and have taken action around my own habits and income that I know will bring the security I'm seeking. Till then, literally anything that can be donated towards this effort is tremendously appreciated, whether it's $5 or $500, my heart is thankful.
