A few years ago I worked hard to complete my Associate degree at the Community College of Philadelphia. As an international student at the time, I was not eligible for financial aid, and I struggled to cover the full cost of my education. Despite my determination, I was left with an outstanding balance that I have not yet been able to pay off. Because of this balance, my diploma has been withheld.
Since then, my life has changed in meaningful ways. I am now a United States citizen and have dedicated my career to serving others. I currently work for the City of Philadelphia, and I’ve spent time helping Pennsylvania residents access vital public benefits—connecting individuals and families to the support and resources they need to get back on their feet. I’ve committed myself to giving back to my community, but I’m still carrying this financial burden from my past.
Receiving my diploma would not only close an important chapter in my life, but also open new doors for career growth and stability. I am asking for your support to help me pay off this remaining balance so I can finally receive the diploma I worked so hard for. Any contribution—no matter how small—brings me one step closer to this goal. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this campaign would also mean so much to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any support you can provide.
