Aloha, my name is Nelson Placa and together with my family we have been residents of Lahaina for the past 10-years. On August 8th, my family and I experienced one of the most horrific and traumatic events in our life, the Lahaina wildfires. On that faithful afternoon I went home early because I was not feeling well and was able to save my sister, niece, and nephews. We were able to escape through the downtown area in the middle of chaos and destruction. Our home was completely devasted by the wildfires. I am blessed to have my family all accounted and safe. I am kindly asking for your support and love in rebuilding our home. Any amount is highly appreciated.
