Hello everyone,

My name is Basil Al-Najjar, I am 26 years old, I graduated with a bachelor degree in Business and administration & worked as graphic designer before the war in Gaza.

I am still alive as I’m writing these words, displaced into the European Gaza Hospital.

My story began on October 29th when our 3 floor house was aircraft bombed by two tower rockets with 120 people inside.

Fortunately the rockets did not explode. So we left the house as the civil defence informed us that it wasn’t suitable for living with rockets stuck inside & difficult to remove.

So we left our house and all our belongings with a hope to come back soon. But sadly on January 25th, 2024, the house was bombed again and was completely demolished.

Now my family & I are living in a tent inside the hospital without adequate shelter or blankets for me and my family members. After loosing everything we owned.

I hope you can help me rebuild our house and begin a new life with new hopes.
