Hi everyone, my name is Emily Carter, and I’m a freelance photographer based in Glasgow.

Recently, a fire broke out in the building where my small photography studio was located. The damage was devastating, parts of the building were severely damaged and my entire studio space was destroyed. Inside were all of my cameras, lenses, lighting equipment, backdrops, and the tools I rely on every day to do my work.

Photography isn’t just my job, it’s my livelihood and something I’ve spent years building. Sadly, my insurance does not cover the full loss of my equipment, which means I’m now facing the reality of having to replace everything on my own.

I’ve always worked hard to build my small business and support myself through photography, capturing weddings, family portraits, and special moments for people across the community. Losing my studio and equipment has been incredibly difficult, and right now I’m unable to continue working.

I’m raising funds to help replace the essential equipment I need to start again. cameras, lenses, lighting, and basic studio gear so I can get back to doing what I love.
