I'm a recovering addict of 6 years, and I have currently gotten out of prison after one year for unlawful use of a vehicle. I'm having a hard time because of a lack of documentation; I need a birth certificate and social security card. Needless to say, it's hard to get a real job. Don't get me wrong, there's work here and there under the table, but that's not always certain, and it's not all that good pay. So, I'm just making enough for a hotel or giving someone money to chill for a night or two and eat, because God knows I don't want to go back on the streets.

Before getting locked up, my ex stole 10 grand and took off, drugs being a major factor in her choices. But I didn't let it stop me. It slowed me down, but I'm hanging in there. I'm really trying to raise enough for a reliable RV, something to live in and get to work, and to get dentures to not look like a drugged-out addict. I'm in desperate need of a major leg up, a miracle if you will, so please, your help will not be wasted. I just want to better my life so I can pursue life goals of getting my life back, my smile, my occupation, my confidence to face bosses, my family, and the mirror when I look in it.
