I have recently graduated a treatment program for substance abuse and have been working really hard on rebuilding my life. I need help with finances for my past due probation fees, to pay for a lawyer because probation violated me for coming to treatment, and I need help getting back to Texas to turn myself in so I can get my legal issues behind me and begin my new life in recovery and with my family. Since December 3rd, I’ve been in California working diligently on relearning how to live a meaningful, happy, productive, sober life. It hasn’t been easy but it’s been one of the most important and meaningful commitments I’ve ever made. Every day I’m focused on healing, growing, and becoming the best version of myself.
These funds will help me get enrolled back into college to finish my nursing degree, help me get established to have a stable place for my children to come back to with me, and ease the fear of the struggle that led me to stay in my addiction so long. As part of continuing to move forward responsibly, I need to travel from California to Texas to address some important legal matters. The funds raised will go towards travel expenses, paying overdue probation fees, and securing an attorney so I can properly resolve everything and continue building a stable future. Taking accountability for my past and actively working toward a better life is something I’m deeply committed to. This journey has taught me humility, strength, and the importance of community and support.
If you’re able to help, even a small donation truly makes a difference and adds up more than you might imagine. If donating isn’t possible, sharing my story, or offering words of encouragement also mean the world to me. Thank you for believing in growth, second chances, and the possibility of a better future. I’m incredibly grateful for any support as I continue this journey in sobriety towards recovery, stability, and a new beginning.
