On May 29, 2026, my apartment at University Gardens in Riverside, CA burned down. I lost everything inside — every single thing I owned. I’m an independent student at UCR, which means I have no family nearby and no one to fall back on. There’s no home to go back to, no extra support system waiting for me. To make this even harder, I also lost my vehicle a couple of months ago. So right now, I have no home, no car, and no belongings. My entire foundation is gone.
I’m currently studying psychology and am just two classes away from finishing my senior year. I was a valedictorian at my community college and am fighting to receive that title at my current college. I have no clothes, no transportation, and no real place to stay. I’ve reached out to local 211 resources, but I still need help to get back on my feet and continue my education. Your support will help me secure a place to stay, buy clothes, get food, and eventually find transportation so I can keep moving forward.

I’m not asking for a handout — I’m asking for a hand up. Any amount helps me rebuild my life: a place to sleep, clothes on my back, and the chance to finish my degree. Thank you for even considering supporting me during this difficult time.
