Hey y'all! After a rough two years in Portland, I am going back home to Texas.

I moved to Oregon after being promised by my ex that he would take care of me and "save" me from the South, however he put me into credit card debt and ended our relationship three months after moving me across the country. I left my career and clientele behind, and despite all my efforts I have not been able to rebuild. In 2024 my gross income was just over $20k, and I did not make a single paycheck over $1,000. I have been trying for the past two years to get a second job, but that has been fruitless. Being in Portland has been terrible for me financially, and has also taken a major toll on my health. I have acquired debilitating allergies that make me call out of work frequently, and have gotten injured multiple times. Physically and emotionally, I just cannot live here anymore. I need to go home and be with my family, community, and clients.

My goal is to buy a cheap second hand car, rent a U haul trailer, and drive back to Austin. This GoFundMe me would help me with affording those two things, along with gas and motels along the way.
