Hi, my name is Megan and I’m a self-employed hairdresser based in Glasgow.

Last night, the building where I work was completely destroyed in a fire. Sadly, everything I kept there for my business was lost — all of my tools, equipment, and professional products that I’ve spent years building up.

As a self-employed hairdresser, my kit is my livelihood, and replacing everything from scratch is incredibly expensive. Right now I honestly don’t know where to begin.

Many of my lovely clients have reached out asking how they can help and suggested setting up a GoFundMe, which is something I never expected to do.
