My name is Rhawnie, and I'm reaching out during the most challenging time of my life.

Over the past two years, my life has been turned upside down. In May 2024, I underwent ACL reconstruction surgery, necessitating short-term disability leave. Just two months later, in July, I was cleared to return to work. However, on my way home from that appointment, I was involved in a near-fatal collision with a semi-truck.

The aftermath of the accident left me grappling with severe physical injuries and emotional trauma. Despite my determination, I have been unable to return to work due to these ongoing challenges.

As I tried to focus on my recovery, I faced additional losses, Ten family members passed away, including my Gramps and both Grandmas, who were my best friends, and my heroes.

Hurricane Debbie devastated my home, forcing me to relocate and start anew.

After months of waiting, I finally underwent necessary back surgery in May 2025, stemming from the accident injuries.

My short-term disability benefits were exhausted by September, and since October 2024, I have had no source of income. My savings are depleted, and my family has stretched their resources to support me.

A Father's Final Goodbye

This week, I received the devastating news that my father passed away in Florida. Still recovering from back surgery and unable to drive, I am desperate to travel there to handle his affairs and bring him home for a proper farewell. I need some assistance with travel expenses and someone to accompany me on this journey.
