I never imagined my life would change so drastically in such a short time. Just over a year ago, I bought a semi truck that needed some TLC, and I poured my heart, time, and savings into making it roadworthy. I borrowed money, invested everything I had, and was excited to build a stable trucking career. But everything changed when I was involved in a bad accident. Not only did I lose my truck, but I also lost my ability to earn a living.

The accident left me with a large tow bill and debt from the loan I took out for the truck. Because I didn’t have personal property insurance, I’m now facing these bills alone, with no truck and no way to make money in my field. Every day is a struggle—trying to figure out how to pay for basic needs, manage stress, and find hope for the future.
