Today, I come to you with a heartfelt plea on behalf of my mother who truly needs our support.

Meet Faree, a 47-year-old immigrant and mother of two who has worked tirelessly as a beautician to build a life in Canada. She came to this country with dreams of a brighter future for her children, a future that was just within her reach after years of dedication and sacrifice. But, like so many of us, she trusted the wrong people, and now, she is heartbroken.

Faree was scammed out of an unimaginable amount: $225,000. To most of us, that’s a sum too large to fathom. To her, it’s not just money—it’s the hard-earned result of decades of labor, hope, and dreams for her family’s future. This began in December when Faree was added into a trading group with a sum of 75 scammers pretending to be investors with all collective false proofs, false receipts, and a false trading website. The scammers intended to add many other innocent people like Faree to use their money, and simultaneously lied about getting them an easy profit. From one then another, Faree ended up investing $225,000 not knowing the profit amount that was displayed on the website was not exactly any profit, those were generated numbers on a fake website. But as she realized, it was too late. In an instant, that trust was shattered, and her world has been upended. And as of now she is under enormous debt.

Imagine the weight of not only losing your savings but also the feeling of betrayal from those who took advantage of your kindness and determination. Faree’s journey has already been filled with immense challenges, but this devastating setback has left her struggling to keep her head above water.

However, Faree hasn’t given up. Despite this heartbreaking ordeal, she continues to fight for her family, for her future. She is a symbol of perseverance, and now she needs us to be her support. As a community, we can come together to help her rebuild, to help her find hope again.
