Help Me Rebuild a Clean Home After a Lifetime of Struggles

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Sasha, and I’m sharing my story not because it’s easy, but because we’re in desperate need of help.
I am currently in a rehab/nursing home due to chronic non healing wounds and chronic pain causing me to not have much of a quality of life..

I’m a double above-knee amputee. I’ve had 29 surgeries—one of them was a hip replacement, and another was an emergency appendix removal. The remaining 27 were on my legs, trying everything possible to get them to heal and to avoid me becoming a bilateral hip amputee.
I’ve lived through more pain than I can describe—physically, emotionally, and mentally.

I’ve been diagnosed with both forms of lupus (SLE and cutaneous), vasculitis, peripheral artery disease, chronic pain, chronic non-healing wounds, PTSD, anxiety, and major depression. These conditions have made daily life incredibly hard, but I keep fighting.

Now, my mother and I are facing a new crisis. The home we live in is falling apart. The ceilings are caving in. The kitchen is barely functioning. Worst of all, we’re dealing with a serious gnat infestation that’s affecting our health and ability to cook, eat, or feel clean and safe.
I am DREADING being discharged from rehab because I know I’m going back to the unsanitary, run down, and filthy home I came from.
We are asking for help to make basic, urgent repairs to our home so that we can live in a safe, sanitary environment. Every dollar raised will go toward:
• Repairing collapsed ceilings
• Rebuilding the broken kitchen
• Eliminating the gnat infestation
• Restoring safe, livable conditions for
my mom and me.
  • Help me purchase clothing, blankets, pillows and towels.
  • Help me purchasing bandages, medical honey, take basically everything needed for wound care (I have been paying out of pocket for everything for 2 1/2 years and I just can’t afford it anymore)

My mother is 68 and suffering from the beginning of dementia, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and severe alcoholism.
She has thrown of pretty much all my clothing besides winter clothes, my sheets blankets, pillows and towels.

I’ve been through so much, and I’m still fighting—but I can’t do this part alone. Any support you can give, whether through a donation or by sharing this campaign, means the world to us.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
