Help me realise my dream as a pro golfer

I’m Joe, a professional golfer from Bedford, England. I am reaching out to my community for support.

Having had an interest in golf from a young age, following my schooling I decided to pursue a career in golf, turning professional at the age of 25 in 2019 I played a mix of events across various mini tours in the UK, EuroPro, Clutch and Jamega, where I grew my confidence of being on tour, learning the disciplines of an athlete in this field. Working with my team throughout the winter I was confident for how the next season would go, little did I know the following year would be one that would change the landscape of professional golf altogether and just as the season was about to start it came crashing to a halt due to the global pandemic.

I was fortunate enough to be able to continue training in the gym and with an indoor simulator, and finally back on the course, so that I was ready when the tours restarted. Working with my swing coach, Nick Huby at Pete Cowen’s academy in Rotherham, I know I’m getting the best possible help and information when it comes to my game.

Even though all the tours restarted in 2021, year by year they were affected financially and ceased operating.

My focus for 2024 is to qualify for the Challenge and DP World Tour. This season I aim to play in all 16 Clutch Pro Tour, Open Qualifying and DP World Q School. These events will take me the length and breadth of the UK.

I am reaching out to the community to support me in this journey, donations will help to support me in paying tournament entry fees, accommodation, travel and caddy fees.
