Over the past few weeks, my life changed very quickly. After a difficult and unstable living situation escalated, I made the decision to leave and enter a shelter rather than continue living in an unsafe environment. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, but I knew I needed to choose stability and safety before things became even worse.

Right now, I am focused on rebuilding step by step.

I have transportation arranged to Salt Lake City, temporary shelter for the first few nights, and a plan to get back on my feet. One of the biggest obstacles is transportation.I found an affordable 2010 Chevy HHR for around $1000 and having a reliable vehicle would completely change my ability to work, look for housing, attend appointments, and rebuild some independence.

I’m not asking for a miracle or a handout to “solve” my life. I’m asking for help creating enough stability to move forward.

Funds will go toward:

* temporary lodging

* food and basic necessities

* transportation and travel costs

* purchasing the affordable Chevy HHR

* rebuilding stable housing and employment
