Help Reach Places In Crisis With New Disaster Relief Vehicle

Please help me buy the first "feral church bus" for my mutual aid and disaster relief org. After working and living in western North Carolina since Hurricane Helene devastated communities - I realized I have learned too much about disaster relief and mutual aid and I am too good at the nomadic life to move on from this work now. Until it got too cold, I lived in my car for days after the storm, and although I am eternally grateful I was offered a warm place, I enjoyed camping out in my car with my bff Prince. All was good - until the clutch that I should not have been driving on went bye-bye in an epic way. This meant losing my "mobile home" which meant stopping the deliveries and work I was doing. But I am hoping to get back on the road as soon as possible!

Another perfect fit with this nomadic work is that I will also be able to perform my job as a journalist when I go into communities recently hit by these increasingly common disasters. Advocacy journalism is the future. I am also working on things like an app to help organize supplies and volunteer efforts and ways of getting communication on the ground much sooner than we were able to do here.

So my plea, help me get a funky van/bus/suv/camper or any reliable new set up so I can get to these places quickly and get help flowing in the right directions? I want to call the organization The Helpers after Mr. Rogers - so this way people will get used to hearing and looking for The Helpers when they are most in need. My goal is that in a pretty short amount of time the first feral church bus and The Helpers will be a welcome sight for people who have just had their world turned upside down.
