Help me reach my dreams to compete in Orlando, Florida

Hi, my name is Amber and I would love your support in helping me achieve my lifelong dream. In 2025, I will have the privilege of representing Australia in Orlando, Florida as a part of the Adaptive Abilities Unified Hip Hop team! The adaptive abilities division unifies people of all abilities and gives them the opportunity to showcase their talents in a specific dance style.
I found my love of dance from an early age, using it as an escape from the bullying I faced due to being “different” from my peers. Dance is the one place where I can truly be myself, express my emotions, and connect with others — without fear of judgment. The best feeling is stepping onto the competition floor, feeling the rush of adrenaline, knowing I’m about to be part of something bigger than myself.
Over the years, I’ve trained in Pom, Lyrical, Jazz, and Hip Hop, competing at both state and national levels with Pacific Elite and High Kick Dance. Now, I’m ready to take my skills to the world stage for the very first time.
Later in life, I was diagnosed with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) which I had unknowingly masked my whole life. It wasn’t until I started experiencing what I now know as a meltdown almost on a daily basis that I realised that I shouldn’t need to live my life struggling every day. The diagnosis made my whole world make sense and helped me feel like less of an alien.
Today, I work in education support while pursuing my studies. I love giving back to students who face similar struggles. I also spend a lot of time at my second home — Pacific Elite — learning from amazing coaches and pushing myself to be the best dancer I can be.
I need your support to make this dream a reality. With your help, I can cover my airfares, accommodation, training fees, and competition costs. Your generosity would truly mean the world to me, and I would be forever grateful for your consideration!
