Hello! My name is Carly Wolfrey. I have recently been offered a contract to perform with Crossmen, a world-class DCI team out of San Antonio, TX this summer and I'm asking you to please help me reach my dream of joining this world-class group!!

Drum Corp International (DCI), is a competitive performance circuit for teams across the United States made up of Instrumentalists, Drumlines, and Color Guard (Marching Bands!). It culminates in a season-ending Championship in Indianapolis, Indiana. Unfortunately, there is a significant financial burden that comes with Marching competitively. The total dues for the season are $5,200 which is due by May. As a full-time Freshman college student who only works part-time, it would be extremely difficult for me to acquire that much money in such a short amount of time. I'm asking for your support in meeting at least the first installment payment of $1,450 which must be paid by mid-February. I'm hoping to raise the remaining amount through this same fundraising if possible.

Color Guard has become such a passion in my life since joining my Freshman year of High School. It has provided me with a newfound love that gives me a creative outlet unlike anything else I've done. Being able to march competitively with a world-class team this summer would give me so much experience and confidence to continue doing the thing I love. It would mean so much to be able to perform in a Marching Band setting again. Performing is what drives me, and being able to march with Crossmen this summer would mean the world to me.

Your donation will go towards paying the Contract Fee to march with the Crossmen. The contract fee pays for all Travel and Lodging expenses, Instruction Camps, and Uniform Fees. Thank you SO MUCH for your donation. It means more than you know!
