The Heart of the Matter

If you know me, you know my life is built on three things: being a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a loyal friend. Most days, you can find me at Mel’s Tiki Cafe, serving up smiles and coffee. I’ve always lived a simple, happy life, but a few months ago, everything changed.

The Diagnosis

What started as a single growth quickly became a much more serious situation. After seeing an oncologist, we discovered that one growth has turned into several. It has been a whirlwind of appointments and anxiety, but there is a very bright light at the end of this tunnel.

The Goal: May 4th

My oncologist is incredibly confident. He believes that if we act now, surgery can successfully remove all the tumors. We have a date on the calendar: May 4th. This is my shot at getting back to my family and my life, fully healthy.

Why I Need Your Help

While the medical path forward is clear, the financial one is not. As a server, I work hard to provide, but I simply cannot afford the mounting surgical costs and medical expenses on my own. To get to that operating table on May 4th, I need to bridge the gap between my savings and the cost of my care.
