This summer, from June 6th through the 15th, I will be joining my church, Sunnybrook, and Proem Ministries on a mission trip to Poland! God has provided this incredible opportunity to glorify Him by serving others overseas.
What is Proem?
Established in 1990 by Maui and Ewa Dwulat, Proem Ministries is a Poland-based organization dedicated to sharing the Gospel with youth and families throughout Eastern Europe. Their initiatives include camps, Christian education, church planting, and community assistance programs.
What will we be doing there?
We will be helping in all areas of Proem's Zako Camp. Our responsibilities will include assisting with dining area cleanup, building relationships with the youth, and leading activities such as devotions, sports, Zako Rancho, workshops, crafts, and refugee assistance. Additionally, we will work on small construction projects throughout the city. In the evenings, we will join the community at local festivals to fellowship and help Proem extend church invitations to the locals. You can learn more about Proem at their website: Proem Ministries.
Why am I choosing to go?
In Isaiah 43, God makes it clear that He created us for one purpose: to glorify Him in everything we do (Isaiah 43:7). I am incredibly blessed to know the One true God who sent His Son to die for all mankind. Jesus left His throne, humbled Himself, and identified with our broken world so He could bear our sins (Isaiah 53:6). Because of His sacrifice, we have the opportunity to spend eternity with Him.
To me, glorifying God means following Jesus' command to share the Gospel with all people (Matthew 28:18-20). It also means loving others as Jesus loves us, serving them with kindness and humility (John 13:34-35). Some of my favorite verses are 1 Corinthians 10:24, which says, "No one should seek their own good, but the good of others," and Galatians 6:2, "Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ."
Jesus' life was marked by sacrificial love, service, and humility. The only time He put Himself first was when He willingly went to the cross as the perfect sacrifice. JESUS will always be enough for me, and I want to serve Him well by going to Poland and sharing His love with the people God has created and called to know Him.

Prayer Requests:
Pray that God would open and soften our hearts to the people in need.
Pray that the entire team stays healthy before and throughout the trip.
Pray for courage and boldness in sharing the Gospel (Romans 1:16).
Pray that our desires align with God's so that He receives all the glory through this trip.
Pray that those who do not know Jesus would seek Him wholeheartedly and respond to the Gospel.
