Help Me Raise £1,000 to Clean Plastic in the Arctic!

Hi, I'm Ben. For every £10 donated, I will spend one minute in a cold plunge.
This March, I will be setting sail for two months on the Norwegian and Arctic seas!!! I will be volunteering for two months with In The Same Boat, an environmental NGO dedicated to cleaning and protecting the coastlines of Norway and beyond.
Despite much of the Norwegian coast being protected, it accounts for some of the most polluted coastline globally. Due to its position on global currents, it accumulates huge amounts of plastic and debris, particularly waste from the fishing and aquaculture industries such as nets, ropes and buoys which are especially damaging to the coastal wildlife. Since 2017, ITSB has been fighting back, and to date has cleared over 1,800,000 kgs of marine litter from Norway alone, and has worked on around 10% of the world's coastline, including expeditions in the UK and Netherlands for the first time in 2025.
However, as a dedicated non-profit, ITSB relies heavily on donations to fund the operation and maintenance of its fleet, transportation and disposal of collected pollution, equipment for volunteers, and skipper salaries. That's why - as well as volunteering directly - I'm hoping to raise £1,000 to help support the project this season. The water I will be plunging into will be 4-5 degrees Celsius (that's roughly the same temperature as the Arctic seas we will be sailing on!). Every £ raised on here will go directly to ITSB.
Thank you!
