I usually would never ask the media for help but this is urgent. I live in a toxic household and I plan to save enough money so I could afford an apartment for me and my boyfriend. My parents are verbally abusive and always treat me and my siblings like sh*t, especially my mom who is always in denial about her actions. I struggle to find a job that is willing to hire me and each day I strive to look for jobs that end up ignoring me. I've applied to more than 50 positions, attended more than several interviews, and yet no job had seemed to choose me as their top candidate. CPS has been to my home several times and there has been no solution. I secretly am attending therapy as my mothers actions have drained my self esteem. I also have my boyfriend and several friends who are supporting me during this tough time. I am currently searching for any affordable apartments in Brooklyn/Queens that I could stay at while I continue through my education in community college. Anything helps!
