Help Me Raise Money For My Surgery In Kyoto Japan!

Hello my name is Tiffany Howard, I am 29 years old and I have adductor spasmodic dysphonia. I have had adductor spasmodic dysphonia for the past 6 years. I lost my voice at a call center where I got a really bad cold for several weeks which lead me to lose my voice completely. After losing my voice I have been on a long journey trying to help repair and regain my voice. When I first lost my voice I went to several ENT doctors they said I needed to go to speech therapy recommending me to Kristi a speech therapist. I was so depressed and hopeless about my voice that she recommended me to a otolaryngologist doctor at UT Southwestern. I started going to UT Southwestern in January of 2020 going to Dr. Mau where he told me to go to a speech therapist which I also did. I have had several Botox injections over the past 6 years which have stopped working for me this past year. I’ve tried everything for my spasmodic dysphonia to the point where I lost all hope and couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel until I did lots of research and came across a person who’s had type 2 thyroplasty done for her spasmodic dysphonia in Japan. When I sent her a message on TikTok asking her about her results after having surgery in Japan, she told me it was completely life changing. Her name is Terra Laurel where I found her video of having spasmodic dysphonia on TikTok and her experience getting the surgery done in Kyoto, Japan. She even sent me the link of the doctor who did her surgery Dr. Shinya Hiroshiba. I contacted the same doctor, Dr. Shinya Hiroshiba to ask more information and details about the type 2 thyroplasty surgery where he zoomed called me telling me I would be the perfect candidate for the surgery procedure. The only problem is the surgery costs $12,100 and on top of that I would have to pay for 2 plane tickets since I can’t really talk that well I would have to bring my partner also to help me. The plane tickets each cost about $1,200 to $1,400. I don’t have that kind of money due to being unemployed for about a year now. It’s been hard for me to find a job with having spasmodic dysphonia making me not have any money coming in to help me save for the surgery. I am asking if you could please help me with any donations. I would greatly appreciate the help! I have a plan of after having the type 2 thyroplasty surgery to find a good paying job to help my partner and my 13 month old son. This surgery would tremendously help me in so many ways, completely changing my life in a positive way and help me in the long run with getting my life back from having spasmodic dysphonia.
