Hi, my name is Kamara Felder, and I got diagnosed with RRMS in April of 2022. I remember the day like it was yesterday. I went to the hospital because I went blind in my right eye. I just woke up and thought it was a joke. I couldn’t see, but I still went to work for the next two years. I was fine until I got into a toxic relationship, and my body went from being completely functional to slowly declining. Stress plays a huge part in this chronic illness. Women are far more likely to develop this illness. My MS might not be as bad as others, but I remember just a couple of months ago I was still walking well. I was scared to run, but I could still run. Now I have tremors like no other. I have heat and cold intolerance. Now I depend on a cane, and I am still grieving my old body. I do not regret what I went through because it has made me the person who I am today. I am a warrior. I am wiser. And I love me. This is a minor setback for a major comeback ❤️ It doesn’t matter how much you donate. 1, 2, 3, 4—it all helps.
The treatment is here in Syracuse with Dr. Tahir, a functional and natural medicine approach. They do not accept any insurance, let alone mine. This would be wonderful for me to undergo noninvasive treatment.
Thank you so, so, so much for everything.
