Help me raise $ for SWB atCapital Fringe Festival
Donation protected
One night after leaving an audition that I bombed, I had an idea that I saw in my head and decided to put it on paper. Later that evening, I wrote the opening scene to what I called SWB, which stands for Strangers with Benefits. After many redrafts, readings, tears and evenings fueled with Chardonnay, I had finished my first Play! It wasn’t an easy road to get here, but I am proud of the work I have created. I absolutely wouldn’t be here without the people who believed in me, pushing me to keep going.
Recently, I submitted my play to the 2022 DC Fringe Festival. It was always a wild dream to write and act in my own show, and an even wilder dream to be a part of the Fringe Festival. My play was ACCEPTED and given three dates: July 16th, 17th and 23rd.
This made everything... incredibly real. And also made me realize there is a LOT that goes into producing your own play for a festival.
In order for me to realize my vision, I need your help and support. For my Birthday this year, I’m reaching out and asking for any little bit of help you can donate to the cause. Even $5 goes a long way to help
me with set pieces, paying designers, costumes, props, whiskey, van rental, and so on. I know it’s not much but every name will be included in the program as a thank you, not to mention all the good karma that will come your way!
Thank you for your love and support. I can’t think of a better way to start off the last year of my Thirties
